Our Journey So Far
Corena Ecza Deposu ve Dış Ticaret AŞ was established
We started exporting pharmaceuticals and medical products from Adana, Turkey. This marked the beginning of our commitment to delivering essential healthcare solutions to those in need.
Became a vendor to US Army
We became a vendor to the US Army Air Base, securing various contracts. This partnership showcased our capability to meet the stringent requirements of the military and further enhanced our reputation for reliability.
Started supplying to clinical trials
We began providing a timely and reliable supply of investigational products to support clinical trials conducted by pharmaceutical companies and research institutions. As we expanded in this new direction, we held firm to our roots, continuing to export medical items and pharmaceuticals worldwide.
Haco Dıs Ticaret A.S was established
Corena was selected as a supplier to UN vendors and UNOPS, enabling us to provide orthopaedic materials, hospital equipment, and medical supplies. We embarked on turn-key projects in Africa, contributing to the improvement of healthcare infrastructure in underserved regions.
Started operations in Ankara and approved as pharma wholesaler (WDL)
We obtained a pharmaceutical Wholesale Distribution License (WDL) and expanded our operations to Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. This strategic move strengthened our presence in the domestic market. Parallel to our growth in the pharmaceutical sector, we also embraced new opportunities in the aesthetic field, introducing a range of branded fillers and cosmetics to our product portfolio.
Placed among the first 1000 Exporters in Turkey
Corena achieved recognition as one of the first 1000 exporters in Turkey. We expanded our reach by participating in international fairs and establishing a robust network of partners and customers worldwide.
Corena Therapeutics Sarl was established and approved by Swissmedic as EU-GDP compliant pharma wholesaler (WDL) 2012
Cunder the same umbrella, our Swiss company was established, meeting all GDP requirements and obtaining WDL approval from Swissmedic. This milestone initiated an expanded global distribution operations. Additionally, we ventured into manufacturing dermatology products known for their efficacy in various dermatological treatments
Awarded as top leading exporter in pharmaceutical industry of Turkey
Corena has been awarded the prestigious title of the leading exporter in the pharmaceutical industry in Turkey, securing the top position in the rankings. We were consistently ranked amongst the top 10 exporters in subsequent years. This significant achievement is attributed not only to our strategic initiatives but also to our dedicated and talented team.
We expanded our operations into Syria and Iraq, delivering crucial medical supplies to NGOs and aiding humanitarian efforts in conflict- affected areas.
Started research on dermatological treatments Commercialized skincare and biocidal products
Recognising the importance of advancing medical knowledge, we initiated clinical studies and partnered with renowned universities to research dermatology treatments. These collaborations have contributed to the development of innovative solutions in the field.
EU-GDP accreditation
We attained compliance with European Union Good Distribution Practice (EU-GDP) requirements and received accreditation. This achievement demonstrated our assurance to maintaining the highest quality standards throughout our distribution processes.
CRN Ecza Deposu A.Ş was established, SAP system was implemented
In our pursuit of continuous advancement, we established a new wholesale company that enabled us to access better supply chains. This expansion and acquiring a Wholesale Distribution License (WDL) further enhanced our capabilities. Additionally, we implemented the SAP system as part of our quality improvement initiatives.
Two bonded warehouse investment to augment logistic services
We invested in two new bonded warehouses to augment our logistics services and accommodate growing demands. These strategic additions bolstered our distribution capabilities and ensured efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
Coordinated swift and efficient PPE and pharmaceuticals supply, during Covid-19 pandemic. Started collaboration with NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA)
During pandemic of Covid-19, we have been the part of resilient personal protective equipment (PPE) supply chains to successfully defeat the virus by serving to governments. We had the experience of NATO contracts, in addition to documented successes in UN and NGO tender awards.
Veterinary products are added to product line
We expanded our product portfolio to include veterinary products. This expansion allowed us to cater to veterinary professionals' needs and contribute to animals' well-being.
Keydvo Holding was established in Malta
Our operations extended to Malta, establishing a presence in this critical hub and strengthening our reach across Europe. The strategic decision to merge our diverse operations in Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, and Turkey under the Malta Holding was taken. This consolidation streamlined our operations, improved coordination and further strengthened our global brand, bringing all our expertise and resources under one umbrella and allowing us to continue making a positive impact in global health.
